Croatia is where I live and work as a Tour Director and after reading Graeme Lanhans's travel book A TASTE OF CROATIA AND SLOVENIA, I can highly recommend it as a great guide for all English speaking travelers looking for informative details about these neighboring countries.Well written, easy to read, informative and good advice.
Perhaps there is only one piece of constructive criticism...Croatia is surrounded by Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, 5 countries, not 3 as Graeme has descibed. Apart from these border facts, all else is totally correct. This will be a valuable book for me, giving me all the relevant information and answers to questions that our visitors often ask.

You can see that the writer is indeed speaking from his own experience since he mentions things that are authentic and valid for both countries. Being a guide in Croatia myself I find it remarkable and amazing that a former visitor can get it so right.
